CHIEF FISCAL OFFICER $71K
Has overall responsibility for strategy and execution for BUDGET & FISCAL POLICY of the firm’s financial and budgetary controls. Responsible for the firm’s budgeting policies and procedures from a centralized perspective, providing strategic planning, budget consistency and integrity to the firm’s process. This financial advisory role will provide recommendations for the development of budget and fiscal policies and procedures tied to company. CFO leads a team of finance employees with overall responsibility for the financial structure by addressing anticipations, appropriations, budgeting and forecasting for all operations. Responsible for planning, directing and managing all aspects of the division and acts as the main control function for the division. Shapes and develops strategy for the next generation of financial operations and objectives for the firm. Work usually includes supervision of a number of professional, paraprofessional and clerical personnel involved in diverse budget and finance-related responsibilities. The Chief of Budget & Fiscal Policy exercises considerable initiative with wide latitude for independent judgment and is expected to resolve problems of a professional and technical nature. Responsibilities include evaluation and development of recommendations to improve Finance administration, procedures, policies and programs.
Desired Qualities
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field of business is preferable.
  • Experience in budget preparation, budget analysis, budget execution, financial analysis, financial management, management analysis required.
  • 8 years of leadership experience is required in such roles as Division Director in Budget, Policy, Planning and Finance, or a reasonable equivalent thereof.
